Frequently asked questions
Check that the phone is not on silent and the volume is up, then tap the language again.
On iPhone keep the listener page in the foreground — Safari pauses audio when the screen locks or another app takes over.
After a network drop the listener page reconnects by itself; there is nothing to reload.
They scan the QR code shown by the organizer or open the listener link, then pick a language. There is no app to install — it works in the phone's browser.
Current Safari on iOS, Chrome on Android, and desktop Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. Keep the browser up to date — audio playback in older versions is unreliable.
Expected latency is about one second behind the speaker. Keep the phone on the venue Wi-Fi or a good 4G/5G signal, and make sure the source microphone is not muted — if the speaker's phone stops sending audio, every language goes quiet at once.
Per language and per minute while the event is live. Two languages for a 60-minute session use 120 minutes. Metered accounts see their remaining balance at the top of My events.
Accounts are created by an administrator. Ask your event organizer, or send us a request with the form below and we will get you set up.
